Open the Mail application via your Dock or in the Applications folder in Finder. We currently recommend using Safari or Google Chrome. In this guide, we will set up our one.com email account in the Mail application running macOS 12 Monterey, macOS 11 - Big Sur or macOS 10.15 - Catalina. Firefoxįirefox only supports Security Keys on macOS devices and do not have "Platform Authenticator" support at this time. Note: The function is very similarly for Anroid users as to how its been outlined for Safari. Then, whenever you'd want to login with Google Chrome, you would go through the QR Mobile Device flow using your iPhone. So, if you were a Google Chrome user and had multiple macOS devices, you would register a passkey on each device running Google Chrome.Īfter iOS 16 is released, you could alternatively save the passkey to your iPhone. This password is not transmitted to the site you are logging in with, it is only used by Google Chrome to "unlock" your passkey. If your device does not have a Touch ID sensor, you'll be prompted to enter your computer's password. One notable difference is that Touch ID is not required. In that way it functions similarly to how I outlined Platform authenticators work on iOS < 16 and macOS < 13 above. "This Device" let's you save a passkey to the current device you are using. Again, for iOS devices at least, this requires the Syncing Platform Authenticator to be enabled. The mobile device flow uses the QR code method outlined here. USB Security Key is again the Roaming authenticator type. Using a USB security key, an Android or iOS device, or "This Device". Similarly to Safari, Chrome offers three authentication types. Note: We recommend using Safari for the best experience on macOS. If you do not have the Develop Menu enabled in Safari, you can enable it by going to Safari → Preferences. → Advanced → Show Develop Menu in menu bar. On macOS this can be done by going to Safari → Develop → Enable Syncing Platform Authenticator. Note: While this feature is launching officially with iOS 16 and macOS Ventura, iCloud passkeys can be tested via each platforms' respective developer menu. These passkeys function identically to ones that are created with the Touch ID on a Mac, but have a slightly different UI. With iCloud passkeys, users on Mac devices without Touch ID, for instance a Mac Studio, can register platform authenticator passkeys that are saved to iCloud. Notice the UI says saving a passkey to iCloud keychain Instead, you'll need to register a passkey using any device signed into your "work" iCloud and another passkey on any device using your "personal" iCloud. If you have a separate "work" iCloud and "personal" iCloud, passkeys will not be able to automatically cross that boundary. Therefore, starting on iOS 16 and macOS Ventura, passkeys will instead always be saved to iCloud and synced to every device that is logged in using the same iCloud account. Now, Apple realized that registering each device separately isnt the ideal solution. In other words, if you have a MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air, you would need to register a passkey for each device. This passkey is saved to the device that you register the passkey on. This includes all the recent Mac laptops as well as desktop computers using the external Touch ID keyboard. On macOS versions before Ventura (13.0), only devices that have the Touch ID sensor can create a Platform authenticator passkey. Platform authenticators are the authenticators that are built into your iOS or macOS device. As long as the physical security key can interface with your device, you'll be able to use it with any device running those macOS or iOS versions. They are physical security keys that a passkey is saved to. Roaming authenticators are like Yubikey or Titan Keys. There are two types of WebAuthn authenticators: roaming authenticators and platform authenticators. Macs with a T1/ T2 security chip or Apple Silicon. Please visit Safari 16 Release Post for more information. In October, support for passkeys will come to macOS Monterey and macOS Big Sur, as well as macOS Ventura and iPadOS. Safari 16 removes the "Enable Syncing Platform Authenticator" option from the developer menu.

ok, I'm not even going to say it had potential, because it didn't. By episode 10, they were straight up annoying. I think it was around episode 7 when I stopped laughing because I had heard the same jokes over and over again. Usually unique characters being fit into a 10 episode anime like this are praised and loved by all, because there isn't enough time to realize the flaws in the character. Hilarious! And of couuuurse, how could I forget fan favorite Megumin! Super cute and always unleashing explosions, what is NOT to love about these characters?!. Aqua is funny as well, and memorable for sure, but she is outshined by Darkness, a masochist. As for their personalities: Kazuma is a funny lead that tries to defy the harem cliches. They have the traditional 'fantasy world' clothing and design, through and through. The voice acting is done decently, but is nothing special. I did like how some characters got themes to match their personalities, but even then the music was mediocre at best. The ending theme as well, is just plain and not something anyone will remember. But not the kind of way that makes you want to sing it all the time, the kind that makes you regret ever haring it because you can't stop singing it. HOLY CRAP DID YOU SEE THOSE JIGGLE PHYSICS?! Radiant colors flaring everywhere, shapes of all different sizes, but most importantly, in the episodes with the succibi and in the mansion. What is impressive however, is the animation, especially in episode 10, with all those explosion scenes. It could have been worse, MUCH worse, but it is by no means impressive. As in, it looks way too old for 2016 quality. Instead of choosing to become ridiculously powerful like almost every other protagonist, this protagonist decides to take the wish granter with him to the 'subarashi sekai'. Konosuba does have one thing going for it After the extreme success of Sword Art Online the reality to game genre has become an insanely overused trope. I'm pretty sure everybody has said this already, but, it really is true. In my opinion, at least 90% of comedy anime are destined for failure, because not everyone is going to find them funny. as you can probably see by the score, my opinion changed pretty quickly. I mean, it had awesome character design, and it was funny! Well. Konosuba is an anime that I initially thought was going to be great. DNA-Based Nutrition Testing for Electrolyte Requirements and Performance Today, research has allowed us to design drinks to address the precise needs of the athlete during physiological, emotional and psychological stress to allow us to push beyond what is considered humanly possible. These included kombucha, kvass, low-alcohol beer and other creative concoctions to maintain energy, nutrition and hydration all day. What about Fermented Electrolyte Drinks?ĭuring our early days of agriculture and in cities and villages around the world, fermented drinks fit the bill for hydration and were often safer to drink than water. While many types of mineral water are still an excellent source of electrolytes, carbonation may not be your best friend during exercise. In fact, the root cause of muscle cramps is usually from a lack of electrolytes, especially magnesium and potassium. To top it off, much of the water has become fluoridated, which binds to magnesium and sets you up for fatigue, muscle cramps, and spasms. Today, our water needs to be purified, distilled and treated which can diminish or completely eliminate the mineral content and can lead to an electrolyte imbalance. In the past, our water would come down from the mountains, collect minerals from the rocks, become activated through movement and was free of pollutants. Why Doesn’t Water Provide Enough Electrolytes? This is why we created the best and worst electrolyte drinks. However, plain water does not supply enough of these minerals anymore. Water is consumed per kilogram of body weight more than any other item in the diet, making it a major source of minerals. Normal nerve, heart and muscle function rely on adequate amounts of these minerals, and deficiencies can hamper performance dramatically. Electrolytes are charged metallic “ions” that help balance fluid pressure inside our cells and control the pH of our blood. That was fun, wasn’t it? Top 5 Teleprompter Apps for iPad/iPhoneįirst up, let’s talk free. For a more in depth read on this topic, check out Smithsonian Magazine’s article, which explores the political nature the teleprompter has taken on throughout the years. In 1949, Schlafly submitted the patent for the “television prompting apparatus” (TelePrompTer) and the rest is history. Barton took his idea to then vice president of 20th Century Fox, Irving Kahn, who in turn took the idea to Hubert Schlafly, an engineer and television research director. It came in the form of a half of a suitcase encasing a roll of butcher paper! That’s some ingenuity right there. So Barton had the idea of lines somehow scrolling in a place where the actors could see and deliver the lines smoothly. There were cue cards sometimes, but there’s a lot of room for human error. And live? That’s in real time, so you forget a line, you’re screwed. No easy feat, especially if you are a guest appearing on several different shows in a week. You see, in theatre and film, actors learn the lines, they have time to memorize them and even rehearse whereas with television, actors have to learn lines on a weekly sometimes daily basis. The year was 1948 and what you may have missed if you didn’t take History of Television in school is a lot of television was live during this early period. had the idea when he was doing a lot of television. Even so, that aspect of experimenting was fruitful and in line with the overall layout and feel of Microcosm. I can’t say that I would be able to explain the differences as sometimes there would be so much going on, swirls of modulation and delay, and mostly it was more of a feeling than an understanding of change. For instance, there are four available reverbs to choose from and I would switch back and forth to see if I could hear the differences until I hit upon one that spoke to me in the moment. Quite the opposite, actually.Ī lot of the time I was experimenting with Microcosm I was pushing it, just seeing if I could hear the difference between one setting and another. I feel like this sort of menu display works well with a pedal that’s obviously designed more for experimentation and feel than precision and in no way did the absence of a menu deter or hinder my enjoyment and creativity with Microcosm. I just used my ears to determine what I wanted, felt like, etc., and for everything else the color bars were quite intuitive and helpful enough, and any other information is just a manual-reach away. Truthfully, a screen would be more helpful in terms of information, and I could never remember exactly which subset of each effect I was in based on which color bar was illuminated, but it’s way nicer to look at the colored bars than a screen, and I don’t really think knowing which preset is which is all that important anyway. Microcosm is hypnotic to look at, with a four-color LED indicator light bar at the bottom of the pedal that signifies whether the effects are on or off, what loop mode you’re in, which effect preset you’re in, etc. Each of these controls also has a secondary function reached by holding the Select/Shift button, also found on the left side of the pedal in the mini Tempo section of the pedal. All of the controls to tweak your sound are on the left side of the pedal Activity, Shape, Filter, Mix, Time, Repeats, Space, and Loop Level. Each of the eleven effects also have four preset variations, so in total you have forty-four, not counting the sixteen saveable USER presets. All of this resides on the right side of the pedal, and the styles and are as follows: MICROLOOP, GRANULES, GLITCH, and MULTIDELAY. Its effects are divided into four styles with subsets for each that total eleven effects, switchable and selected by the pushbutton Preset Selector. Microcosm can run in mono or stereo, has MIDI in and OUT, an assignable expression pedal input-which can also be used to CV control any of the main parameters-and a host of controls and features with which to tweak into the infinite. It’s a really nice looking thing with an off-white enclosure with flashes of pastel-ish rainbow colors and lights, and if you’ve heard it-and I’m sure you have, whether you realize it or not-and especially experimented with it, then you know how easy it is to churn out beautiful, interesting soundscapes and textures with it. Microcosm, Knoxville-based Hologram’s granular delay and looper pedal, is one of those pedals that can induce a little of a love at first sight reaction.
